Accessibility Statement

1. Accessibility level and standard

Our goal is conformance with Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0, at level AA. The site was built with that goal in mind, and many of its components meet it. However, a full accessibility audit by an expert or certified accessibility auditor has not yet been carried out, so we do not claim full conformance with the standard. Below is what was checked, what is in place and what is still limited.

2. What was checked

2.1 In September 2026 automated checks were run with Google Lighthouse on key pages, and the issues found were fixed (for example colour contrast and list structure). Manual checks of keyboard navigation and of display at phone screen width were also carried out, in the Chrome browser.

2.2 Not yet done: systematic testing with screen readers (such as NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack), testing in other browsers, and testing of the internal admin panel. We intend to complete these checks and update this statement.

3. Accessibility features on the site

A floating accessibility menu on every page: two levels of larger text, high contrast, highlighted links and stopped animations, with a reset button. Your choice is saved in the browser.

A “Skip to content” link at the top of the page.

Keyboard navigation in menus, forms, dialogs and the player, with a visible focus indicator. Dialogs close with the Esc key.

Player keyboard shortcuts: Space to play and pause, and arrow keys to move between tracks and to jump within a track.

Heading structure, labels for form fields and text descriptions for icon-only buttons.

Support for Hebrew right to left and English left to right, with language and direction set on every page.

Respect for the operating system's “reduce motion” setting: animations and the live background are turned off or replaced with a calm background.

Layout that adapts to different screen sizes, including phones, and support for browser zoom.

Form error and confirmation messages are shown as text.

4. Known limitations

Previews and demo clips are music without speech, so no captions are provided.

The waveform is a visual representation. The essential information (title, artist, BPM, key and length) is also shown as text.

Some artwork, especially in the charts, comes from external sources and may lack a full text description.

Dragging a track into DJ software requires a mouse and is not available on touch screens. Every such action has a download button alternative.

Live identification works by listening through the microphone. The alternative is a text search of the catalog, including search by lyrics.

The live background on the home page is decorative only and can be stopped from the accessibility menu or with the reduce-motion setting.

The internal admin panel, used only by DMG staff, has not been checked for accessibility.

Content entered or edited by DMG staff (such as free text and documents) and emails may not fully meet the requirements.

5. Service accessibility arrangements

The service is provided online only and has no physical reception. You can get help with signing up, choosing a package, understanding how to pay and downloading by phone, WhatsApp or email, and ask for information from the site in another accessible format (for example as plain text by email).
